The philosophy of chiropractic care is simple: the body was created with the ability to heal itself, as long as there is no interference. Chiropractors locate where there is interference in the nervous system, the system that controls and coordinates every function in your entire body, and then through a gentle adjustment, they remove the interference through an adjustment.

Misalignments in the spine that are responsible for this interference are often the result of different types of stress, either a physical, chemical or emotional stress. When the body fails to adapt to the stress it encounters, inflammation and muscle tension can often result in pulling the vertebrae out of their proper position.
